Hi,
I just wanted to share my experience with you. I have struggled with
colitis for some years now, as I have a moderate inflammation
throughout my colon. My symptoms are mainly bleeding (resulting in
lack of iron and anemia), diarea, tiredness, stomach-pain and some
joint-pain. In the beginning my bad periods were not that bad, and
did not last long. But as the colitis has progressed, I now have
quite bad flares, my last one lasting from june up until now, causing
me to loose 15 kg.
Now, before I started LDN, I have tried a lot of diets, and I know I
feel better when I don’t eat any sugar, wheat, yeast, milk, red meat
or tomatoes. So I have continued to avoid these.
Instantly after taking my first dose of LDN I felt something
happening. The stress and tension I have had in my body almost
constantly for the last 2 years dissapeared, and I actually felt
relaí. I can see how that could be a placebo-effect, but I still
think it’s a bit strange, as I was feeling nervous and a bit scared
before taking the dose. (I took 3 mg for a week, and then 4,5) Now,
after 4 weeks on LDN, I have to say I feel almost like a normal
person. I now have on average one bowel movement a day, where I used to have from 5 – 15. My stool is firm, and there’s not so much blood, although I can still se traces of it. My stomach-pain is no longer a real pain, it’s more of a discomfort, but still there. I recon it
will go away in a while – Rome was not buildt in a day. But the
biggest difference is in my energy-level. Before LDN I had days where
I was unable to stay awake the whole day, and the only thing that
could get me out of bed was the urgency to get to the toilet. Now I
can work most of the day without having to sit down.
I am so glad that I went through the trouble of finding a doctor who
would prescribe LDN, and that I can take responsibillity for my own
health by using it. Combined with my diet, I think LDN will make my
life so much easier. I hope maybe my story can inspire others with
colitis to give it a try.

Hi group,
Some weeks ago I asked you if I could suggest LDN for a woman having a disease calledArteritis Temporalis.
This is an auto immune disease. It’s symptoms are: inflammated walls of the veins. Often veins in the front head, the inflammation leads to a severe weak eyesight, temporary blindness and strong head aches. I don’t know all the symptoms and I may have misunderstood some of her explanations. Anyway, her problems is a severe headache every day. She has so much pain in the head it’s hard to lay down on the the back of it or on the right side.
She stared LDN 14 days ago.
She has been using Prednisone for 2 years now, without any break, and she has been tapering off of it now.
She started LDN, and from the first morning she woke up she had no pain at all.
All pain is gone, and so is the feeling of bodily discomfort as well. She now needs time to get rid of the fatique.
This may take time, and I hope the inflammationed walls inside the veins will disappear.

Een stukje psychologie

Hallo bloglezers!

Chris

Oorspronkelijke tekst:

Hi all,

Can anyone explain why there seems to be such violent opposition out
there to LDN?

I recently posted on the ”inspirational stories” section of an ALS
forum about the wonderful results LDN had given me in reversing my

Within hours I was swamped by the most hateful and vindictive replies
imaginable! Everything from being an idiot for beliving in miracle
cures (hardly) to pushing untested poisons?? Is it just ignorant
stupidity or something else? I have never experienced anything like it.

Good luck to all,

Chris.

Antwoord:

I am a family doctor (GP) in Dublin and have many patients on LDN,some
for several years.
Most of my MS patients have done well and one of my cancer
patients who had it in her lungs secondary to breast cancer is now
well 3 years later.I have about a dozen cancer patients on it for up
to 5 years and none of them has died so far but this is too good to
last.2 Fibromyalgia patients have improved considerably. One patient
with Motor Neurone Disease diagnosed by 2 neurologists over 3 years
ago has now been discharged from the neurological service as they
have found nothing wrong with him. Just in case they are wrong he
plans to stay in LDN. A few patients with frequent lung infections
seem much healthier and rarely need my services. I have a patient who
developed an infection deep in the foot and who could not really walk
for over a year as a result. Last October his surgeon suggested he
should consider the possibiluty of an amputation. I decided to try LDN
and zinc and his infection dried up in 2 months. He is back at work
for 3 months now and is well. I have a big interest in nutrition in
mental health too and have a website at
www.omega3.20megsfree.com

En het vervolg:
I have had one breast cancer death in the last 5 years and she refused to take LDN.  All the others agreed to try it. One of those women is now 57. She had breast cancer in 1997 and metastases were found in the lungs in 2002/2003. I really had no hope for her survival at that stage and I have been little short of amazed at her recovery-I never saw a case like this before in my life. 5 year survival for breast cancer depends very much on the stage it is picked up but some of mine were quite advanced. One woman, now 47,had 6  positive glands and 3 soft tissue deposits over three years ago  and has remained well. Maybe my results are pure flukes-we are very sceptical in medicine- so further research is needed on LDN.We need double-blind crossover meta-analyses over  a long period  before  most of my colleagues  will be convinced. Another of my interests is in nutrition in psychiatry and I am becoming quite used to about half of the many people  with schizophrenia that I see  going back to college or getting a job. The same proof is required there for my colleagues to believe in it. I must admit that being a doctor is far more satisfying now than it ever was in the past as so many of my seriously ill patients seem to get well, although I would not regard any of them as cured. I use the standard medication in all cases too.

LDN bij cervicale displasie

Dr. Bihari told me that cervical dyplasia would clear up in about 6 months on LDN, as I was diagnosed with it. I started taking 3mg of LDN, and also did a program prescribed by my naturopathic physician which was certain nutrients (beta carotene being one of them, can’t remember what the other was) plus some herbal suppositories. My next 6 month pap smear
showed the dyplasia to be gone and they’ve all been clear since.
That was 2 or 3 years ago.

LDN bij depressiviteit
